ALLIANCE STATEMENT OF FAITH
1. There is one God (Deut. 6:4), Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19).
2. Jesus Christ is true God and true man (Phil. 2:6-11). Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He died as a substitutionary sacrifice, rose from the dead (1 Cor. 15:3-4), ascended as High Priest, and will return to establish His Kingdom.
3. The Holy Spirit is a divine person sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower, and bear fruit in believers (John 16:13). He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:7-11).
4. The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and are the sole rule of Christian faith and practice (2 Tim. 3:15-17).
5. Humans, created in God's image (Gen. 1:27), fell into sin, incurring death; all are born sinful and separated from God, saved only through Christ's atonement (Rom. 5:12).
6. Salvation is provided through Jesus Christ for all (1 John 2:2); those who repent and believe are justified by grace through faith, born again, and adopted as God's children (Rom. 3:21-24).
7. God wills believers to be filled with the Holy Spirit and wholly sanctified for holy living and service, as a crisis and progressive experience after conversion (1 Thess. 5:23).
8. Christ's redemptive work provides healing for the whole person (Isa. 53:4-5); prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are privileges for the Church today (James 5:13-16).
9. The Church consists of all redeemed and born-again believers, with Christ as Head (Eph. 1:22-23), commissioned to make disciples of all peoples (Matt. 28:19-20). The local church is believers joined for worship, edification, prayer, fellowship, gospel proclamation, and observance of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
10. All will be bodily resurrected; Christ will judge: the unrepentant to eternal separation from God, believers to eternal life (Rev. 20:15; 21:1-4).
11. Christ's Second Coming is imminent, personal, visible, and premillennial—this blessed hope incentivizes holy living and service (Titus 2:11–14).

Leadership
Dave and Elena Reynolds met at Long Beach State, married in 1986, and have lived in the Temecula Valley for over 20 years. They love to connect with people from all walks of life and backgrounds and help them move forward in faith, which is what Faith Community is all about.
Since 1990, the Reynolds have focused on helping people connect with God and others through church planting. They launched ShoreLife Church in Huntington Beach, CA (1991), founded Northwest Church Planting in Vancouver, WA (1998), and planted Chorus Church (now called Awakening Church) in Southern California (2003–2013). In 2014, Dave was appointed national church-planting director for the Christian and Missionary Alliance, where he created a strategy to turn churches into multiplying churches. He continues to serve on the Alliance national team, coach leaders, and lead church planting for the South Pacific District of the Alliance.
Dave and Elena are the proud parents of grown children: David, Jenna, and Dean. Elena loves cultivating plants in her garden. And she won the Temecula Valley Pilates Plank Off in 2023 (10 minutes!). Dave is a lifelong musician and performs throughout Temecula Valley wine country with his son Dean as the duo Son & Reynolds.
